The rain was blowing sideways at Neist Lighthouse on the Isle of Skye, but my LL Bean duster and wellies held up fine!

Packing update: The layers I packed are working beautifully. (See packing video.) Today I wore a cotton turtleneck, my black quilted vest, a scarf, my raincoat, and the waterproof wellies – perfect!
You look just like a native Scotsman (or woman, as the case may be). Has the weather been pretty good overall?
Hi, Lee. Generally the weather has been good, but it rained five out of seven days on Skye, where the photo was taken. Today, in Edinburgh, it is around 50 degrees with gale-force winds out of Iceland! A bit nasty walking around, but at least it’s not raining. I’m wearing wool for the first time today! Regards, Cindy
Cindy and Marcus,
Just a quick note to say thanks again for a great evening spent talking over a light meal on Skye. I’m home in Toronto now, sad to be done my trip…but so grateful that I was able to go at all. Enjoy the rest of your time travelling!
Hi, Shannon!
So good to hear from you! Glad to hear you made it home safely. We enjoyed the “picnic” too. Experiences like that make traveling worthwhile.
Best, Cindy
